Parmacotto does not want only to be synonymous with excellent Italian pork products, but has always meant to make itself the image and reflection of our culture in a larger sense: with this aim, the company has always viewed with great interest the world of arts, sports, and education. From the beginning, even before the great leap in communication, Parmacotto has bound its name up with the world of arts, contributing to important restoration efforts.

The first important initiative sponsored by Parmacotto is the restoration of the dome of San Giovanni in Parma, a splendid work by Correggio, that was restored to the city on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the artist's birth (1989).
From this successful initiative followed, from 1992 to 1995, the restoration of the beautiful Chapel dei Papi Sancta Sanctorum in Laterano and, also in 1992, a contribution to the production of the show "Maria Luigia: woman and queen, a European court in Parma" visited by millions of history and art lovers. The success of the initiative was repeated in 1994 with the show "The Farnese: art and collecting."
For a long time, the company has turned to sport in its various manifestations in order to support various marketing activities, both to increase of the notoriety of the brand in specific areas and to reinforce relations with clients.
In the two-year peiod 1994-1995, it was the sponsor of Cariparma, an Italian volleyball squad on the international level, and then, in 1993 and 1994, patronized the Italian cycling tour by sponsoring the blue jersey.

Parmacotto has always been close to the football world: after two seasons, 2003/2005, as Official Sponsor of the
Lazio club, it is still collaborating with the club through a Public Relations agreement; it has been official supplier of
Milan AC for 17 consecutive seasons and also added official partnership of
Napoli Calcio and institutional sponsorship of
Parma Calcio last season.

The company has demonstrated sensibilities not only for the arts and sports, but also for education:
Parmacotto supports the fulfillment of the
Master of Communications and Marketing, a one-year, full-time graduate course with fixed size that applies to graduates of all italian and foreign universities who desire to acquire a modern managerial training focused on marketing and business communication. The course enjoys the ASFOR Accreditation (Association of Schools and Institutes that operate in the Management Training sector).
