Company > Who we are

Parmacotto has always believed in the power of communication and, over the years, has made publicity a decisive instrument of success.
In order to realize its goal, the company has entrusted itself to greatly useful endorsements of personalities well-known not only to the Italian public but also internationally.
The first to represent, on a set, a publicity ad for the Parmacotto brand was Sophia Loren; in her message, the actress let herself be seduced by a Parmacotto ham then burst into a explosive and accented "accattatevill’o !" ("It's just begging you!"), one of the most successful slogans in the history of television commercials. The second endorsement of the Parmacotto campaign was the irresistible Christian De Sica, who, dressed like a shopkeeper, flirted with clients behind the counter while cutting Parmacotto ham in order to "riporli nella vaschetta" ("lay them in the pouch")...: the result was a 25% increase in sales. The dynamic of the ads was also amusing, in which the personalities, though being so well-known, acted as everyday people who were absolutely normal--this made Parmacotto a product still closer and more familiar to the public at large.
The aforementioned campaigns contributed to keeping Parmacotto the first brand recognizable from this sector on an international level and they have received a number of important awards: from the Chicago International Film Festival, the Mobius Advertising Award, the New York Festival Advertising, the Global Award and many others.
The endorsements have certainly been a successful investment on the part of the company and corresponding to the public taste; the company has also found their investment on publicity campaigns to be decisive: enormous, innovative and focusing particularly intensely on the medium of television.

The New Campaign
In March of this year, Parmacotto inaugurated a new series of messages entitled "Gesti d'amore" ("Gestures of love").
The new campaign underlines the tradition and the quality of Parmacotto products, and does so with the message "Una famiglia, una passione" ("One family, one passion"); the new campaign presents, much like the exceptional endorsement, the Rosi family, who has to decided to "make themselves the face" of the company, for a further guarantee of its promise to offer high-quality products every day to consumers.
