The thirteenth edition of "
Valceno - His Majesty Mr Pig being served", delighting palates from '
11th November 2006 to 25th February 2007'.
This culture and food event is a journey through ancient traditions and aromas of a rich, generous land; at carefully laid tables in 36 restaurants, trattorie, inns and farmhouses for unforgettable evenings!!

The Towns involved, coordinated by
Parma Turismi, are:
Solignano, Varano de' Melegari, Bardi, Varsi, Bore, Pellegrino Parmense, Fornovo, Medesano e Valmozzola, where for
13 weekends typical locations offer guests menus with the typical black Valceno pig as the main attraction.
The novelty of this 13th edition of "
Valceno being served" is that the event goes beyond just
restaurants to involve those locations where these culinary delights originate. Thus excursions and guided tours of bakeries, ham and cheese -making locations in the territory (
all free of charge with obligatory booking tel. 0521/228152).
The event, coordinated by
Parma Turismi, is organised by the Pro Loco of Varano de' Melegari together with Town Administration, by the Province of Parma, the Mountain Communities of the Valleys Taro and Ceno supported by the Cariparma Foundation and the Community program "leader plus" managed by Soprip.
